, you’re more than just a number. Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance.Our client is currently seeking a qualified Tech Cafe Technician to join their team onsite in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
This role will provide operational support for our client's desktop and network environment including: Microsoft Windows-related activities, Microsoft Active Directory, LAN and WAN infrastructure activities, and handheld computing devices. This resource requires a high degree of customer focus and contact that ultimately generates high customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for identifying new issues and trends, determining the root cause of issues, and quickly resolving them.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide mobile device support (iPhone and Android)

Troubleshoot tablets and phones
-
Work with end users to survey existing software and files for transfer to new machine
-
Troubleshoot applications using provided documentation
-
Interpret and execute tasks using technical instruction
-
Understanding of Bit locker
-
ServiceNow and ITIL knowledge - Preferred but not required
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Minimum 3+ years of proficient walk-up experience with technical skills
-
Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 troubleshooting and configuration

Experience supporting MS Office O365, One Drive, and Outlook
-
Ability to troubleshoot problems with Windows 10 and 11 (currently Windows 11 shop)
-
A+ Certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days
-
Understanding of TCP / IP
-
Knowledge of Active Directory users and computers

Experience supporting an enterprise environment
-
Experience configuring smartphones is a plus but not a requirement

Knowledge of MacBooks is a plus

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Good time management skills
-
Works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

Outstanding customer service and focus skills

Experience working both independently, and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Wage Range:
The hourly rate for this position is between $23.75 - $29.90 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
