Field Service Technician

Join !Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join their team onsite in Evansville, AR and provide unparalleled technical support. This Technician will travel within a radius of 50 to 125+ miles daily, supporting locations in Ft. Smith, Van Buren, Fayetteville, S. Fayetteville, Tahlequah, and / or Muskogee, and is required to have a valid driver’s license.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand AC / DC and backup power concepts
-
Troubleshoot and resolve IT / Data issues promptly
-
Manage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution to client scope on IT equipment
-
Document efforts, issues and resolutions, close cases / tickets daily
-
Track and monitor issues, provide notes and feedback
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Minimum 1+ years of IT support experience
-
Familiar with various operating systems (e.g., Windows OS, OSX, Linux / Unix) and IT equipment
-
Insight to POS, PC, Printers, Servers, Network switch equipment
-
Experience desired in copper and fiber cabling and various terminating connectors, including CAT6 punchdown and terminations, is critical
-
Exceptional customer service skills

Must be self-motivated and have the capability to complete projects ahead of schedule

Excellent time management and reporting skills
-
Will occasionally work at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided
