Level 2 Support Technician (Part-Time)

Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance.Our client is currently seeking a qualified Part-Time Level 2 Support Technician to join their team onsite in Reno, NV to provide end-user support. Maintain work / life balance working 3 days per week! Day shift schedule and must be willing to work some OT, after-hours, weekends, and on-call.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver a deskside service to the client for support on the laptop / desktop related hardware / software break fix incidents

Deploy, configure, and support mobile devices, printers, RF Scanners, and standard productivity software, for internal users at the site

Support with the activities related to the configuration and installation of desktops, including patch updates and hardware replacements – as guided by the client

Provide "Smart Hands” support related to the access points and switches based on the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) provided or as per guided by the client's IT team

Assist the client's IT team with network and infrastructure initiatives (Cisco switches and wireless access points expertise required), including hardware and systems administration

Participate in the meetings and planning sessions related to the maintenance, upgrade, infrastructure inventory and risk assessment, and disaster recovery-related activities at the site

Take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements as guided by the client IT support teams

Asset tagging and updating asset database based on the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) provided by the client
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Experience providing end-user support in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
-
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11
-
Zebra printer expertise
-
Ticketing system experience, ideally ServiceNow - other ticketing system experience can substitute for ServiceNow knowledge

Close attention to detail and skilled at reading and following instructions

Able to communicate clearly and effectively with non-technical end users

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Wage Range:
The hourly rate for this position is between $22.50 - $35.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
W2 only, no Corp to Corp. We are unable to sponsor H-1B visas at this time.
